A CURA DI AMICI DEI MUSEI SICILIANI ORATORIO DI SAN LORENZO | PALERMO

Starting from an ancient drawing rediscovered through in-depth art-historical research, Dario Denso Andriolo develops a contemporary reinterpretation of the fresco, transforming the original mark into a sinopia of light.

The work emerges from a phygital process in which historical material and digital tools intertwine. Through imaging, modeling, and projection mapping, the image is reconstructed as a temporal digital fresco that comes alive within the architectural space of the Oratory of San Lorenzo.
Conceived as an immersive audio-video installation, the work brings together light, digital sculpture, and sound into a single perceptual experience, offering the lost drawing a new form of existence—not as static memory, but as a living, shared vision.
